Author Talk with Stacey Lee

Orcas Public Library is thrilled to welcome Stacey Lee, award-winning New York Times bestselling author of historical and contemporary fiction, for a moderated discussion of her new gothic historical novel, Heiress of Nowhere. Her novel is set on Orcas Island in 1918, and follows Lucy Nowhere, an orphan raised by Mr. Sanders, a Robert Moran-like legend. With plant magic, a fiercely independent heroine, and a mystery that keeps you guessing, it’s easy to get lost in this book as you simultaneously try to connect the island references and solve the mystery.
