Endurance Film

Excitement is in the air as the West Sound Community Club hosts a special screening of ENDURANCE at the Seaview Theatre on May 3 from 2–3:45pm, presented by Orcas Island producer Ruth Johnston. The film tells the story of Sir Ernest Shackleton’s legendary survival expedition and a modern-day mission to uncover his lost ship. Doors open at 1:15pm, with a pre-film gathering and a post-film Q&A to follow. Admission is free, with a suggested $25 donation, and all proceeds support the West Sound Community Club. An after-party at the Lower Tavern (21+) will follow, featuring sea shanties and themed food and drinks, with a portion of proceeds also benefiting the Community Club.
