July 4th Pancake Breakfast & Salmon BBQ
Celebrate the Fourth of July with two beloved Orcas Island traditions. Orcas Island Fire and Rescue will host its annual Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, July 4, from 7-11am at the Eastsound Fire Station. Hosted by the Volunteer Firefighter/EMT Association, breakfast includes pancakes, sausage, eggs, and beverages. Tickets are $12 for adults, $8 for children, and free for kids under 7. Proceeds support local volunteer firefighters and EMTs.
Later in the day, the Orcas Island Lions Club will hold its 49th Annual Salmon BBQ from 3-7pm. Guests can enjoy smoked salmon, barbecue chicken, baked potatoes, rolls, and coleslaw, with takeout available. Tickets are $30 for adults and $15 for children. Proceeds benefit local community service projects and scholarships.
