15th Annual Orcas Artist Studio Tour Returns August 7–9
Explore the creativity of Orcas Island during the 15th Annual Orcas Artist Studio Tour, a free, self-guided tour taking place Friday, August 7, through Sunday, August 9, from 11am–5pm daily.
Visitors are invited to follow the studio tour signs across the island for a unique opportunity to step inside the working studios of 35 local artists. Meet the artists, watch live demonstrations, learn about their creative processes, and purchase artwork directly from the makers—many of whom create new pieces specifically for the tour.
This year’s tour features a diverse range of artistic mediums, including blacksmithing, ceramics, encaustics, painting, sculpture, mixed media, fine art photography, and more.
The popular Studio Tour Passport returns this year, giving participants the chance to explore studios across the island and be entered to win handcrafted artwork by participating artists. Tour brochures and passports are available at the Orcas Island Chamber of Commerce and at participating artist studios.
