Snake Studies and Sharp-tails on the San Juan Islands
Join Kwiáht herpetologist Christian Oldham as he discussed Kwiáht’s ongoing snake studies, particularly those on the rare and endemic Sharp-tailed Snake (Contia tenuis). This presentation is free, open toall ages, and made possible by the generous support of the Mount Baker Group of the Sierra Club Washington Chapter and Kwiáht’s donors. Free wooden snakes will be gifted to kids in attendance (while supplies last) thanks to Friends of the Orcas Island Library funds.
