St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Orcas loves a parade and you can prove it by showing up for the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade! Bring out your finest green duds and join your island friends and neighbors for a brief but beloved island event.

If you want to bring props, decorate a float, ride in a car – it’s up to you. The only requirement is wear green and be (or pretend to be) Irish. Parade stages at 11:30am in the rear parking area of Island Market. At 12 noon the parade takes off north up Prune Alley and then south on North Beach Road, ending back at the Market. The Orcas Island Community Band and St. Patrick will see you rain or shine!
