Long Live The Kings

Long Live the Kings rears and releases Chinook salmon at our Glenwood Springs hatchery facility on Orcas Island. The hatchery plays a crucial role in maintaining fisheries, meeting tribal treaty obligations, and providing food for our endangered Southern Resident Killer Whales. It also provides an invaluable hands on-experience to over 1,100 annual visitors, introducing them to the iconic salmon and the challenges they face.
