Description

The Museum is the Island's Center for historical, genealogical and archaeological research -- a non-profit organization. Come visit the Museum, where History Comes Alive -- featuring six homestead log cabins originating from this Island filled with exhibits, history and artifacts. The Museum also serves as the repository for the artifacts and family histories, providing valuable genealogical information to students, the community and tourists. Looking for a place to begin Island and/or family research? Start with the Museum! “We educate, inspire, connect and involve our community and visitors as stewards of island history.”
