Community Advocate & Prevention Specialist (Orcas Island)

This professionally trained Community Advocate and Prevention Specialist will provide crisis intervention and advocacy services to survivors and secondary victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse. They will also provide community and school-based prevention education and outreach. All WA state required training will be provided upon employment. Though they will primarily serve Orcas Island, some inter-island travel will be necessary (ferry costs covered). Approximately 28 hours/week (based on a 35-hour work week) and salary range $23.50/hr. – $35.90/hr. Initial rate DOE.
