Mission
The mission of the Orcas Island OI Chamber of Commerce (OI Chamber) is to promote, support, develop, encourage, and protect the commercial, professional, financial, and general business interests of Orcas Island. The OI Chamber fosters civic engagement and advocates for the general welfare of the island by representing the island community before county and state entities and government officials, by providing information about the stewardship of Orcas Island and sustainable tourism to visitors, and by supporting and sponsoring community events. The OI Chamber works to obtain financial support to achieve its mission.

- Advertises and promotes events through the OI Chamber’s weekly newsletter “On Island” with nearly 4,000 subscribers
- Represents members at select Pacific Northwest events, expos, and shows
- Represents Orcas Island as a member of the San Juan Islands Visitor’s Bureau board of directors
- Connects with the Lopez and San Juan Island Chambers of Commerce
- Promotes your business and events through the online community calendar in collaboration with the Orcas Public Library
- Provides opportunities for inclusion in select regional and national advertising and promotion campaigns
- Offers workshops, education, and professional development sponsored by the OI Chamber
