OISD Key Club Paper Airplane Contest Benefiting Mercy Flights
The Orcas Island Key Club is hosting a Paper Airplane Contest in support of Mercy Flight at the high school gym at 2:20pm on Wednesday, May 21. There will be prizes for winners in three categories (Accuracy, Distance, and Creativity) by age group:Â elementary schoolers, middle schoolers, and high schoolers/adults.
Entry is free, and there will be a donation jar for parents and community members who feel inclined to donate. Mercy Flights transports those in need of urgent care off the island for free, whether you have a doctor’s appointment, are in labor, or need urgent off-island medical care. Donors will be acknowledged as a sponsor during the contest.
