Description: The Bilingual Community Health Worker (CHW) position builds trusting relationships with the Spanish speaking community. This trusting relationship enables the worker to serve as a safe and supportive link between community members and the health/social services system, promoting culturally competent and trauma-informed service delivery.

The community health worker empowers participants and builds individual and community capacity by increasing health knowledge and self-sufficiency through a range of activities such as outreach, community education, informal counseling, social support and advocacy. View the full job description here.
