Orcas Pride is a pro-celebration, pro-liberation series of events fostering community resilience and nurturing connection, education, and support for rural queer, trans, intersecting, and allied communities in the San Juan Islands and beyond. First held in 2019, the celebration continues to evolve and grow each year and the organizing entity achieved 501c3 status in 2024.
The celebration generally consists of an all ages Day Fest focused on local LGBTQIA+ youth and 21+ Night Fest, spanning two sold-out nights in 2024, with events leading up to and following the main events, including a parade in Eastsound, pop-ups at local restaurants, drag brunches, and more.
